Public Hearings for the 2013 Budget

Public Hearings will be held this month to discuss the City of Little Rock’s 2013 Budget Proposal. Dates, times and locations are as follows:
Monday, December 10th – Northwest Police Substation, 10001 Kanis – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, December 10th – Dunbar Community Center – 1001 W. 16th St. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 12th – Roosevelt Thompson Library – 38 Rahling Circle – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 12th – Southwest Community Ctr -6401 Baseline Rd – 7:00 p.m.
The City of Little Rock is beginning the planning process for the 2013 Action Plan. The plan will outline funding and programming to be accomplished through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Programs. The City of Little Rock receives CDBG, HOME, and HOPWA funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Neighborhood planning meetings will be held throughout the City during July 9-16, 2012. The purpose of these planning meetings is to gather input and ideas for funding as it relates to community development and housing in the City of Little Rock. The Consolidated Planning Committee will prioritize community needs and prepare a funding recommendation for consideration by the Little Rock Board of Directors. The neighborhood meetings will be held at the following locations:
