Youth assisting Pettaway presented key to City of Little Rock

Due to the collaboration of Maggie Hawkins, the Facilitator of East Broadway Alert Center  and Anthony Falkowski, the Outreach Coordinator for First United Methodist Church, the Pettaway Park Neighborhood  area  has been fortunate enough to acquire the humble carpentry  services of the Texas Mission Youth group from Aledo, Texas. They will  address some much needed housing issues of the elderly and disable residents within our area, East End, South End and Granite Heights area.

June 13th thru June 17th these  80 young people plus their 20 supervisors  will be working to extend a helping hand to the  residents of the City of Little Rock.

Monday (June 13, 2011) at 9:00 a.m., the Little Rock City Manager will present a  key to the City of Little Rock to the  Texas Mission Youth group. We are  truly excited, thrilled and grateful that Anthony informed us of the Texas Mission Youth group and we look forward to seeing them and welcoming them into our community and city.  If you are interested in attending this presentation, please come to 507 Charles Bussey Street .
